Football 11 Sharks Voted Onto IWFL All-Star Team by Staff Post July 7, 2016 New York Sharks QB, Karen Mulligan (Photo provided by Karen Mulligan) The teams for the 2016 Independent Women’s Football League All Star Game have been revealed and set for this year’s game. The 2016 All-Star game will be held in Charlotte, NC on Saturday July 23 as part of the 2016 Independent Women’s Football League Championship Weekend. There were eleven New York Sharks that were named to the East All-Star Team for this year’s game. The players are: QB Karen Mulligan, CB Jewelle Grimsley, LB Gabriella Farrell, CB Nandi Brown, WR Maggie Natell, OT Stephanie Reynolds, DE Tynisha George, DE Delmara Reece, WR Erika Cottle, LB Brooklyn Fields, and defensive coordinator Lybrant Robinson. The Sharks will traveling to Minnesota this week to play the second round of the IWFL Playoffs against the Minnesota Vixen. The Sharks had a first round bye after clinching the Atlantic Conference.
