In his analysis, Dohn says of the 6-3, 230-pounder, “Reynolds has good straight line speed, runs well, can cover down the field and also changes direction well. He is long and he knows now to break down heading into a tackle, and executes form tackles well. He disengages from blocks and can chase down a play on the back side.” Reynolds chose Rutgers over offers from Maryland, Connecticut, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse among others according to 247sports.com The 3-star recruit according to the 247Sports composite, is ranked as the No. 70 outside linebacker in the country, and the fourth best prospect out of the state of New York. With his commitment, Rutgers national recruiting ranking jumps up to No. 45 and eighth in the Big Ten Conference. Reynolds is the sixth prospect to pledge to the Scarlet Knights and joins fellow verbals offensive lineman Nick Krimin, running back Trey Sneed, quarterback Anthony Russo, linebacker Jon Pollock, and wide receiver Mo Jabbie.
