The U.S. Women’s National Team is off to a busy start this year. First, players had fitness tests performed during the first annual January camp in Los Angeles, CA, and now Jill Ellis, U.S. Women’s National Team head coach has named 25 players to training camp prior to the 2017 SheBelieves Cup kick off.

The one-week training camp will take place on February 20 in Orlando, Florida before traveling to Chester, PA where they will face Germany on March 1. The remaining of the games will take place in Harrison, NJ on March 4, and Washington, D.C on March 7.

“January gave us a chance to see some new faces in with the veterans, and get some quality time on the training field,” Ellis said. “A player’s performance in that camp and positional depth guided our selection for this pre-camp, and from here we will select our SheBelieves Cup roster. There will be no better test than opening against Germany, so we will need to have a laser focus as soon as we land in Orlando. As our players have not yet returned to their clubs, they have been training in their independent environments, so playing as much 11v11 situations will again be critical during these few days,” Ellis added.

Out of the twenty-five players named to the Orlando training camp, twenty-three were part of the January camp. Below is the U.S Women’s National Team Roster, broken down by position:
