Technically, the Major League Baseball All-Star festivities began Sunday with the Futures Game and Celebrity Softball Game. On Monday, all eyes turn to the current stars of MLB as the much anticipated Home Run Derby will take place at Marlins Park in Miami. 

New York Yankees rookie right-fielder, Aaron Judge, will be one of the largest (both literally and figuratively) attention getters throughout the next couple days. He enters Monday’s HR Derby as the No. 2 seed, behind hometown favorite and defending derby champ, Giancarlo Stanton. Judge, baseball’s leader with 30 home runs, will go head-to-head with another hometown star, Justin Bour in the first round.

American League manager Brad Mills announced the AL starting lineup on Monday. Judge finds himself in a familiar No. 3 spot. He will be sandwiched between Cleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez and Houston Astros outfielder George Springer.

Red Sox ace, Chris Sale will take the mound for the AL, becoming the first pitcher since 2000-01 to start consecutive years in the All-Star Game. Sale will face a loaded National League lineup.
