CollegeAmar Alibegovic to Transfer from St. John’s by Kayla Machlica March 30, 2016 Sophomore Amar Alibegovic has announced that he is intended to transfer from St. John’s after his spring semester, with two years of eligibility remaining.“I’ve had a great experience at St. John’s and would like to thank the coaching staff and administration for all of their support the last two years,” said Alibegovic. “I am just looking for an opportunity where I can play more and continue to chase my dreams.”Alibegovic played in 26 of 32 appearances for St. John’s in 2015-16. He averaged 5.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and made 26 3-pointers.
