Basketball Baseline Jumper, Episode 41: NBA Southeast Division Preview by Benjamin J. F. McDonald September 12, 2018 Training camp is only a few weeks away! To start their NBA preview, Ben and Jason break down the Southeast Division. First, they cover some news and notes, including the Ryan Anderson trade (1:00). To start off the division, Ben and Jason hit last year’s division-winning Miami Heat and their season outlook (12:00). The Hornets and their new head Coach James Borrego is next (19:00). Can the Hornets get out of cap hell and turn things around? The Wizards might be the best team in the division this season but can the chemistry match the talent (27:00)? The Magic hope that the intra-divisional move of Steve Clifford will finally turn them around and get them back into the playoffs (37:30). Lastly, the Hawks have a few young players but what will it add up to this season (43:00)? To finish it off, Jason looks at the Nets News of the Week and the duo give their Heat Checks.
