Feature Bierman’s Complete Game Leads To 2-1 Patriots Win by Somerset Patriots July 13, 2015 Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (2-2, 52-22) defeated the Camden Riversharks (0-4, 28-46) 2-1 Monday evening at TD Bank Ballpark. In the top of the sixth inning catcher Jose Gil slugged a home run (4) to give Camden a 1-0 advantage. The Patriots grabbed a 2-1 lead in the home half of the seventh inning as second baseman Jose Garcia legged out a RBI fielder’s choice while designated hitter Aharon Eggleston slapped a RBI single. Sean Bierman tossed a complete game to earn the win (8-2) scattering just three hits on just 76 total pitches. Zach Braddock sustained the loss (2-2) in relief. The 2015 Somerset Patriots season presented by Ford will continue tomorrow when the Somerset Patriots remain at TD Bank Ballpark for a 7:05 p.m. game against the Camden Riversharks.
