The much-awaited BIG3 league is expected to debut this summer, and with only nine weeks left to tip-off, Ice Cube‘s action-packed three-on-three styled league has announced the official schedule.

All eight teams will play in one venue in a quadruple-header every Sunday, with the season getting underway at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the regular season finale in Staples Center in L.A.

The playoffs will start the following week in Seattle’s Key Arena, culminating in the league championship at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

All games will be presented the next night at 8 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1, in efforts to give a “Monday Night Basketball” experience. The league championship will be played and broadcast live on the FOX broadcast network at 4:30 p.m. ET.

“When we created the BIG3, we set out to bring elite basketball talent and highly competitive 3-on-3 action to fans across the country,” BIG3 President and Commissioner, Roger Mason Jr. said in a press release. “We couldn’t be more excited to deliver on that promise, and unveil our 2017 season schedule including cities that are home to some of the sport’s most diehard fans.”

BIG 3 2016-17 SEASON SCHEDULE:  

   June 25: Barclays Center | Brooklyn, New York

   July 2: Spectrum Center | Charlotte, North Carolina

   July 9: BOK Center | Tulsa, Oklahoma

   July 16: Wells Fargo Center | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

   July 23: Bridgestone Arena | Nashville, Tennessee

   July 30: American Airlines Center | Dallas, Texas

   August 6: Rupp Arena | Lexington, Kentucky

   August 13: Staples Center | Los Angeles, California

    August 20: Key Arena | Seattle, Washington (Playoffs)

    August 26: T-Mobile Arena | Las Vegas, Nevada (Championship Finals)

The league also announced the official team lineups along with their respective coaches.

  • 3’s Company: Captains Player/Coach Allen Iverson and DerMarr Johnson
  • Three-Headed Monsters: Captains Rashard Lewis and Jason Williams, Coach Gary Payton
  • Killer 3s: Captains Chauncey Billups and Stephen Jackson, Player/Coach Charles Oakley
  • Ghost Ballers: Captains Mike Bibby and Ricky Davis, Coach George Gervin
  • Trilogy: Captains Kenyon Martin and Al Harrington, Coach Rick Mahorn
  • Tri-State: Captains Jermaine O’Neal and Bonzi Wells, Coach Julius ‘Dr. J’ Erving
  • Power: Corey Maggette and Cuttino Mobley, Coach Clyde Drexler
  • Ball Hogs: Brian Scalabrine, PLAYER X, Coach Rick Barry

 More than 70 former NBA players have signed on to compete for the remaining 24 spots on each of these eight teams. All of them will compete in a series of workouts before each team drafts the remaining three players to complete their roster.
