Buffalo Bills TE Dawson Knox, three others test positive for COVID-19

The Buffalo Bills placed four players on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Of the four tight ends, Dawson Knox has tested positive, the Buffalo Bills said. Tight ends Nate Becker, Lee Smith and Tommy Sweeney, were deemed to have close contact with Knox.

Among the tight ends, Tyler Kroft was not in close contact with Knox, as his wife was in labor and he was not present for the meeting where the virus could have spread, source told Adam Schefter.

The NFL has been affected by COVID-19 amongst teams this may become a bigger problem in upcoming weeks with the recent influx of the virus. Many teams are opening stadiums up to fans, which increases the risk for COVID-19 transmission.

The Bills are still scheduled to play this Sunday against the New York Jets.
