Hockey Cam Talbot Named Third Star of the Week by the NHL Talbot posted a 2-0-1 record over three games. by Staff Post March 11, 2015 NY Ranger goaltender Cam Talbot was named as the third star of the week by the NHL for his outstanding performance over three games. Talbot posted a 2-0-1 record over those three games and had a 0.99 goals –against average and a SV % of .965 and one shutout. On March 2nd, Cam stopped 25 of 26 shots in a 4-1 Ranger victory over the Nashville Predators at MSG. Then on March 4th at the Joe Louis Arena, he made 29 saves in an OT loss to the Detroit Red Wings. And finally on March 8th, at the “Madhouse on Madison” against the Chicago Blackhawks, Cam stopped all 29 shots he faced for a 1-0 OT shutout victory.
