Baseball CC Sabathia, You're an All-Star In My Book by Staff Post July 6, 2011 There are always a few players deserving of making an All-Star roster but get left out. It’s a numbers game and because every team must have at least one representative, some big names have to take a back seat. However, the ace of the American Leagues best team should have been selected. CC Sabathia is on an absolute role, winning five straight start and is 9-1 in his last ten games. The Yankees big lefty is having yet another Cy Young quality season. Texas manager Ron Washington, who is coaching the AL squad this season, made a mistake by not naming Sabathia to the team. Sure, he would likely not be able to pitch anyway since he is scheduled to start Sunday but that should not matter. Last night in Cleveland, Sabathia single handily shut down the Indians. He gave up just five hits in seven innings while striking out 11 and walking two. This coming one game after he struck out a career high 13 against Milwaukee. Now 12-4 on the year, Sabathia is just the second Yankees pitcher to record at least 12 wins prior to the All-Star break in consecutive seasons. Tommy John was the other. Sabathia leads all of baseball with 12 wins while sporting an ERA of 2.90. He is fifth in the American League in strikeouts, trailing only Justin Verlander, Felix Hernandez, James Shields, and David Price. He is third in the league in innings pitched behind Verlander and Hernandez. Sabathia has walked just 34 batters and given up only five home runs in 136.2 innings. Picking an All-Star team is never easy, especially when every team must have one member. However, to leave off one of the games best pitchers is a mistake. Regardless of what the paper says, CC Sabathia is an All-Star! lithium companies us usa singulair mrk 117 square side effects doxycycline esophagitis usa tamoxifen 4 years Buy Without Prescription phenergan dm syp drug tretinoin tazorac Buy Without Prescription depakote glaucoma generic flonase coupon Buy Without Prescription bupropion zyban dosage tabs depakote er food pills bactroban ointment used for impetigo Buy Without Prescription young black actors under 30 pills ventolin 200 mcg hcl albendazole 200 generic mobic years side effects seroquel withdrawal 50 mg online celebrex generic canada generic how to make lasagna yahoo answers drug prilosec rebate prilosec for sale cabana nashville coupon for sale Post Views: 1,277 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Staff Post Latest posts by Staff Post (see all) In The Zone Announces Initial Podcast Lineup - November 13, 2020 The Essential Resources You Need to Start Your Own Gym in 2020 - February 6, 2020 Wilder vs Fury II – How the second fight will be different to the first? - February 5, 2020 Early turnovers, defensive struggles plague the Scarlet Knights - January 26, 2020 Related TopicsAll-StarCC SabathiaNew York Yankees Click to comment You must be logged in to post a comment Login Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
