Columbia Fireflies Start A Three Game Homestead Tonight

Columbia, SC – The Fireflies kickoff a three-game homestead tonight at Spirit Communications Park going against the Hagerstown Suns. The first game of the weekend series, the Fireflies are looking for their fourth straight win. Hopefully, the Fireflies don’t have to erase a deficit again as they’ve done in the last three games.

First pitch for tonight’s game is set to be thrown at 7:05 PM with right-hander Joe Shaw (3-2, 3.21 ERA) taking the mound against Sun’s righty Andrew Lee(2-2, 3.66 ERA. Righty, Chase Ingram (3-4, 4.40 ERA) gets the start on Friday, his opponent for the Suns has yet to be determined. P.J. Colon will get the final start of the series as the lefty is 7-1 on the season with a 1.42 ERA, as well Colon’s opponent is TBD.

The Fireflies are 28-25 0n the season while Hagerstown is 33-19.
