On June 16, Craig Carton of WFAN’s Boomer & Carton show hosted the 2nd Annual Tic Toc Stop Celebrity Golf Outing at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, NY.  Mookie Wilson, John Franco & John Starks, along with Chris Simms, Wally Szczerbiak, Constantine Maroulis, Chris Algieri and many others played in celebrity foursomes to help raise money for theFoundation.
TicTocStop, founded by Craig in August 2013, is committed to the foundation’s mission —  to  help make the lives of kids (and adults) living with Tourette Syndrome TS better. To achieve their mission, they are currently funding a clinical trial, the 1st  of it’s kind, at the University of Tennessee, led by Dr. Bill Balanoff, seeking FDA approval for an oral appliance that has shown to reduce the tics associated with TS.
Additionally, TicTocStop fully funds a 1-week sleep away camp in ups t ate New York  ( currently for more than 40 children with Tourette Syndrome) allowing them to enjoy and benefit from everything camp has to offer them in a nurturing environment.
“As an individual with Tourettes, and now a parent of children with TS, the mission of TicTocStop is very personal. It gives me such satisfaction to know that the foundation founded just over 1 year ago has made such tremendous progress for Tourette Syndrome and those who are living with it,” Craig says. “I’m looking forward to what is in store for the future our organization and the kids who will benefit greatly from it.”
