Whenever Dalton Castle heads out to the ring, you know you are about to watch something special. His unique style and charisma should be enough to make him a champion anywhere he goes. Since debuting in Ring of Honor, The Albany, New York native has competed in many title matches, but was never able to take advantage and win one.

Until now.

At Ring of Honor’s Best in the World PPV tonight, Dalton Castle and “The Boys” beat Bully Ray and The Briscoes for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles. It started with an epic entrance that only he is known for, and things just escalated from there. After some comedy with Dalton and Bully Ray, things got serious. Move after move, these two teams worked hard to excite the Lowell, Massachusetts crowd. Jay Briscoe was busy beating up one of “The Boys” and Bully Ray tried to stop him. Dalton took advantage by pinning Mark Briscoe. The match ended with him claiming gold for the first time ever in Ring of Honor.

This is a great moment in ROH history, as it gives way to the future of professional wrestling. The newly-created titles could be a great benefit for Dalton and his crew, as they always fight together anyway. The possibilities are endless for Castle now. His quest for gold could continue at any point, and he would deserve any chance he got.

For “The Party Peacock”, this seems like the beginning of an important time in his career. He now has the target on his back for the first time ever, and I’m sure he is very happy about that. Watch out wrestling world, Dalton Castle is here to stay!
