Hockey Devils Announce Dates For 2015 Training Camp by Chip Gianni August 25, 2015 The New Jersey Devils will open training camp on September 10 when their rookies arrive at the AmeriHealth Pavilion for their physicals before shuffling off to Buffalo to take part in a three day tournament. The round robin tournament part of the Buffalo Sabres’ Prospects Challenge will feature rookies from the Devils, Sabres and Boston Bruins. All three teams will play two games during the tournament. The Devils rookies will have a practice at the First Niagara Center on September 11 at 11:30 AM followed by their first game Saturday evening September 12 at 7:00 PM. In the game that night at the First Niagara Center, the Devils will face the Sabres. The following night the prospects will take on the rookies from the Bruins at the Harborcenter. The team will travel back to Newark on September 14, as the Bruins and Sabres faceoff against each on that night. The Alumni Association will hold their annual golf classic at the Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station, NJ on September 16 at 9:30 AM, before the veterans are due to report to camp the following day for their physicals and media day for the team.
