Another match has been added to UFC 223, providing the card with another bout to an already stacked event. The UFC announced that Devin Clark would be facing Mike Rodriguez in a light heavyweight contest.

Making his UFC debut in Brooklyn, Rodriguez (9-2) is riding a four fight winning streak. He competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders (episodes five), impressing the boss enough to sign him. The Boston native has won seven bouts via KO and two via submission. At 29-years old, Rodriguez is looking to make an immediate impact in the stacked light heavyweight division.

Another member of the Tuesday Night Contenders series (episode six), Devin Clark (8-2) made his UFC debut in 2016. He is 2-2 with the promotion, and is coming off of a loss against Jan Błachowicz at UFC Fight Night 118. The “Brown Bear” has won the majority of his bouts via decision. He has also won three via KO and two via submission.

UFC 223 takes place on April 7th inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The main event features a Lightweight Championship bout between Tony Ferguson and challenger Khabib Nurmagomedov. The co-main event features Rose Namajunas defending her Strawweight Title against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
