Modeling

How did you get started in modeling?

I booked a dance audition with ESPN/ESPN2 for a series of promotional commercials for the Little League World Series with the Jonas Brothers. From that job I was able to network with different agencies and gain access to the modeling world.

So far, what has been your favorite modeling shoot or experience and why?

Shooting my dance team’s annual calendar because we can be both goofy and serious which makes the shoot more realistic and fun.

What kinds of modeling are you most interested in and why?

Commercial because what I lack in height for fashion modeling I make up in personality.

Being in shape is major in the entertaining business. Do you work out? If so, how often and how rigorous is your routine?

I work out 6-7 days a week. I do thirty minutes to an hour of rigorous cardio on either the elliptical or treadmill and weight train. Along with attending the gym, I dance and trainwith my dance team a minimum of 2 days a week. On the weekends you can find me dancing at the Rutgers football and basketball games or dancing with the DJ company, Pure Energy Entertainment. I also really enjoy running outside if the weather permits!

What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?

I would love to ease my way into commercial modeling and to eventually sign with a talent agency. Signing with a talent agency would allow me to gain access to dance, modeling, and acting opportunities.

Double G Sports

Tell us your feelings on your first Double G Sports Girls photo shoot?

It was great to meet all the girls. The stadium was a cool place to shoot because of the wide range of spots to work with. The wind definitely made it a little bit of a difficult shoot but once I learned how to look past how cold I was, I was able to really focus on working it!

Do you have any favorite sports teams or players?

Yankees, Jets, and Knicks! I am a huge NY fan and am always kicking back and watching the games with the boys. My favorite players are Mark Sanchez, Brett Gardner and Amar’e Stoudemire.

As a Double G Sports Girl, what can you bring to the website? How can you help promote and get the name out?

I hope that my interest in NY sports would allow me to network with other NY sports fans. This would provide me the opportunity to show NY fans what Double G Sports offers!

What can our readers expect from you as a Double G Sports Girl?

Aside from an outstanding grade point average, really sweet dance moves, you can always expect plenty of ridiculous moments with me around!

If Double G Sports had you run an event for them, what would you plan?

I would plan a dance and wellness workshop for children of domestic violence. I am currently working on organizing an event like this called “Dance Day” for children in the New Brunswick, NJ area because dance and movement therapy is proven to aid children in violent situations.
