As we approach the new year and prepare to enter 2017, let’s take a look back at 2016. The staff at Double G Media has put together a list of the most read articles of 2016 on DoubleGSports.com. We now share them with you for another look.

Three of the top five articles, including the top overall article of the year, were part of our annual Women In Sports project for Women’s History Month each March.

UFC/Wrestling Writer Daniel Yanofsky has two of the top five articles from the year, both interviews. Macy Golder’s interview with Baltimore Orioles beat writer Brittany Ghiroli was the most read article on DoubleGSports.com in 2016.

Chris Nalwasky has seven articles in the top 50. Nalwasky is the former Rutgers Football Lead Writer for Double G Sports.
