Baseball Ducks Outlast Patriots In 13 Innings by Somerset Patriots August 19, 2015 Bridgewater, NJ – The Long Island Ducks (21-18, 67-42) blanked the Somerset Patriots (21-18, 71-38) 1-0 in 13 innings Wednesday evening at TD Bank Ballpark. In the top of the 13th inning third baseman Cody Puckett tallied a RBI sacrifice fly to break the scoreless tie. Billy Buckner earned the win (8-3) in relief. Zach Clark suffered the loss (0-1) in relief. Amalio Diaz notched his 10th save of the season pitching the final frame. The 2015 Somerset Patriots season presented by Ford will continue tomorrow night when the Somerset Patriots remain at TD Bank Ballpark for a 7:05 p.m. game against the Long Island Ducks.
