Hockey Flyers reveal alternate jerseys for 2018-19 by Evan Watson July 27, 2018 Adidas Hockey finally allows third jerseys after an aesthetically boring season. The Philadelphia Flyers revealed Thursday their third sweaters, copies of the stadium series uniforms from Pittsburgh in 2017. I’ll say it: there were better choices. I liked it for the outdoor game, and I came very close to buying one, but the numbers are unnecessarily large for indoors. These are very good looking, and more throwback than a 2017 jersey. The good news is, we’ll be seeing a fourth design revealed leading up to the matchup at the Linc coming this February. Those announcements will probably come around December. Overall, a 3/5 star rating from me. Maybe they’re saving the throwbacks for this winter.
