Giants announce 2020 captains; Saquon Barkley the only returning captain

The New York Giants announced the six 2020 captains. The Giants 2020 captains were chosen by the players.

The Giants 2020 captains:

Offense: Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones
Defense: Blake Martinez, Dalvin Tomlinson
Special Teams: Nate Ebner, Jabrill Peppers

Barkley is the only player who was a captain in 2019. Both Blake Martinez and Nate Ebner are first-year Giants.

Jones became a captain his second season. This is the 14th season the Giants starting quarterback will serve as a captain. Eli Manning spent 13 years as a captain.
