Buffalo native and current Long Islander Gregor “The Gift” Gillespie earned the biggest win of his professional career Saturday night.

Gillespie (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) continues his undefeated streak after knocking out Andrew Holbrook (12-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) in just 21-seconds. The lightweight bout was the featured UFC Fight Pass early prelim bout Saturday night. It took place as part of UFC 210 at the Key Bank center in Buffalo, New York.

“It’s almost like a dream. It hasn’t even soaked in yet,” Gillespie said in his post-fight interview. “This was my first knockout in front of a crowd that was roaring. This is such a special feeling, and it’s as good as it gets right there.”

“The Gift” made his UFC debut in September against Glaico Franca at UFC Fight Night 95: Cyborg vs. Lansberg in Brazil. After three-round he earned an unanimous decision victory over Franca.

Prior to making his debut in the octagon, Gillespie was the reigning lightweight champion for the New Jersey based promotion, Ring of Combat.
