Ric Flair (What Culture) Ric Flair is one of the most successful professional wrestlers in the world. However, he is also the most controversial. His stories about his career inside the ring are well-known, but what about his life outside of it? Fans will be able to get an in-depth look at The Nature Boys’ life, thanks to the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary series. In a press release, ESPN announced the long-awaiting Ric Flair documentary will be airing on Tuesday, November 7th at 10 p.m. ET. Rory Karpf directed the project. httpss://twitter.com/30for30/status/890331404352970753 The documentary will focus on how Ric Flair’s wrestling persona became his reality. The lows of his career will outweigh the highs. Various colleagues from Flair’s past are involved in this, which is rare in the professional wrestling world. Some of those wrestlers include Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Sting, Ricky Steamboat, Hulk Hogan, among others. This is a very interesting topic for Rory Karpf to tackle. This plays close to his heart, as he admired Flair when he was younger. In the press release, Karpf stated: “I grew up a huge wrestling fan in the 1980s and I was captivated by Ric Flair. It’s been a personally rewarding experience to tell the story of arguably the greatest wrestler of all time. Ric’s story transcends the wrestling business, and my hope is that it will appeal to wrestling and non-wrestling fans alike.” To get the interest of non-wrestling fans is tough to do. It’s a story worth listening to however. Ric Flair was a rock star that flew too close to the sun. It will definitely be a must-watch program when it airs in November. By the end of the night, the Woo’s will be deafening. Post Views: 3,271 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc. Sports Editor.
