MMA Heather Hardy has her Bellator 222 opponent in Taylor Turner The boxing champion is looking to move her way up in the MMA world in her hometown. by Daniel Yanofsky May 8, 2019 A multi-time Featherweight Champion in boxing, Heather Hardy is looking to continue her MMA journey at Bellator 222. Although she has fought in New York many times, she has never boxed inside the main bowl of Madison Square Garden. Now, in her second MMA fight inside The World’s Most Famous Arena, “The Heat” is ready to make another moment in front of family and friends. Hardy (22-0, 1 NC boxing, 2-1 MMA) faces off against Taylor Turner on the undercard of Bellator 222, taking place June 14th. After Hardy defeated Ana Julaton at Bellator 194, the two were set to face inside the boxing ring. Julaton ended up retiring, forcing Hardy to search for someone new to face. She ended up defeating Shelly Vincent for the WBO Women’s Featherweight Champion back in October. Looking to move away from the boxing scene for a bit, Hardy now has the opportunity to show the MMA world just how talented she can be. Opposite Hardy is Taylor Turner (3-5), who is on a two-fight win streak. Her last few fights have taken place for the Valor Fights promotion. Making her grand debut inside Madison Square Garden, Taylor will look to take advantage of a true opportunity. Tickets are currently available for Bellator 222. You can grab them now at the MSG box office and at Ticketmaster.com. Post Views: 851 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc. Sports Editor.
