The New York Mets and the Borough of Little Ferry, N.J. unveiled the newly-renovated Shannon Dalton Forde Memorial Field on Friday.  Little Ferry Mayor Mauro D. Ragusea was joined at the ceremony by Detective Mike Hinchcliffe of the townships police department, Mets Chief Operating Office Jeff Wilson, SNY broadcaster Gary Cohen, and MLB Senior Vice President of Youth Programs Tony Reagins.

Also in attendance were Mets greats John Franco, David Wright, Bobby Valentine, Willie Randolph, and Al Leiter.

The renovated field is dedicated to Shannon Dalton Forde, the late public relations executive for the Mets.

Renovations made to Shannon Dalton Forde Memorial Field included dugouts with protective fencing and benches, perimeter fencing, bleachers, backstop, and scoreboard and field signs.  MLB also has worked with the Borough of Little Ferry and the local Police Activities League on the project and future youth programming.
