Pro Wrestling Impact Wrestling to host ‘Salute to the Troops’ by Daniel Yanofsky March 8, 2019 It will be a very patriotic April and May for Impact Wrestling, as they have partnered up with Tried-N-True Pro for a Salute to the Troops event. The event will take place on the 12th at Fort Campbell Army Post in Fort Campbell, Kentucky at 6 p.m. ET. Free for all military personnel and their families, the event will air on Impact’s Twitch channel on May 11. With over 1,000 members of active duty soldiers, Impact Wrestling will look to put on a show for the brave men and women of our country. “We are proud to partner with TNT Pro and Fort Campbell Army Installation for this special event, as we honor our servicemen and women and their families,” said Impact President Ed Nordholm. “We intend to provide a memorable evening of entertainment, serving as a well-deserved morale booster for these brave men and women.” WWE holds their Tribute to the Troops event every December. For years, fans have seen the positives of making a difference. Impact’s commitment to doing the same makes this all the more special. “As a United States Army Veteran, it has been my goal since Tried-N-True Pro’s inception in 2015 to bring live professional wrestling to the soldiers and families of Fort Campbell Army Installation,” said TNT Pro promoter and producer Anthony Mayweather. “Speaking from experience, I know that live entertainment is very important and can be a key factor in elevating morale within the soldier and their family members. It’s an honor to be able to provide that entertainment for these brave men and women. We are very proud and excited to forge a partnership with Fort Campbell MWR and IMPACT Wrestling to produce this special event.” An ID is required to claim tickets to the event. DoD ID holders will get in for free. Ticket information can be checked at TriedNTruePro.com.
