The Kean University football team ended its regular season on a high note and now await ECAC Bowl selections on Monday to see if they are post-season bound.

Senior defensive back Austin Davis had a 54-yard interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter and senior defensive back David Coleman added a 30-yard interception return for another score in the second to lift Kean to a 20-10 victory over conference rival Montclair State Saturday at Alumni Stadium in Union.

For the second straight season, the Cougars (6-4, 5-4 NJAC) won over all state-based and original members of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC).

Junior kicker Aryeh Moslavi kicked two field goals in the second half, a 33-yarder in the third quarter and an 18-yarder in the fourth to cap Kean’s scoring.
