MMA “King Mo” to return at Bellator in their Hawaii debut against Liam McGeary by Daniel Yanofsky September 19, 2018 It has only been a few days, but Bellator’s debut in Hawaii already has outdone everything from this year. The company announced another huge match would be taking place at Bellator Hawaii. Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal will face Liam McGeary in a bout that is a long time coming. Bellator President Scott Coker made the announcement via Twitter. The “Moneyweight” King of @BellatorMMA will join the “Pinapple Princess” @ilimanator and the “Dragon” @lyotomachidafw at #BellatorHawaii live on @DAZN_USA @KingMoFH vs. @liam_mcgeary — Scott Coker (@ScottCoker) September 17, 2018 Lawal (21-7 (1NC)) is coming off of a 15-second round one loss to Ryan Bader in the Heavyweight World Grand Prix back at Bellator 199. In his last four fights inside a Bellator cage, “King Mo” is 2-2. McGeary (12-3) is on bit of a skid as well. He has lost two fights in a row, most recently against Vadim Nemkov at Bellator 194. A former Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion, McGeary is a feared striker that is looking to get back on track in a big way. Both fighters have been scheduled to face one another before. Set to face at Bellator 185, Lawal had to back out due to injury. This time, Lawal is finally ready to fight McGeary and hopefully get back into title contention. Bellator Hawaii takes place on December 15 at The Neal S. Blaidsdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. The card is headlined by lima-Lei Macfarlane defending her Flyweight Championship against Valerie Letourneau. Tickets go on sale this Friday at Ticketmaster.com. The card will air exclusively on DAZN. Post Views: 736 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc. Sports Editor.
