Basketball Knicks troubles: Rumbling between players and Fizdale by Stefano Bentivogli October 18, 2019 The NBA regular season has not begun yet, but, there is already trouble in the New York Knicks locker room. Rumor has it, there are problems between head coach David Fizdale and some players. According to SNY’s Ian Begley, the way Fizdale mixed and matched his training during the preseason led to a bit of “rumbling” among Knicks players about their playing time and roles. After missing the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year last season, the Knicks made some significant changes to their roster during the offseason, leaving Fizdale with the task of finding the best way to use all his new players. After the missed engagement of stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, the Knicks decided to invest in players with perspective profiles. A team formed mainly by young talent. There are interchangeable players, which Fizdale can rotate during the season. But even before seeing how the rotation plays out, there has been some grumbling amongst players. The climate, even at the beginning of the season, is not the best and the risk is always higher that, Knicks fans, can live a new season of tribulations, both for the value of the team, but also for the problems between players and coaches Fizdale.
