The fight is scheduled to take place on July 20th inside the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the line is Thurman’s WBA (Super) Welterweight Title. Before the two face off, they will be speaking to the media in New York City today at 11:30 p.m ET. The question on everyone’s mind is how competitive can this fight be? Pacquiao (61-7-2) can still go, but at 40 is slowly nearing the end of his career. He has won two fights in a row following a controversial loss to Jeff Horn. On the other hand, Thurman (29-0, 1NC) won his first match in more than two years away from the ring due to injury. He defeated Josesito Lopez via majority decision.
