York was able to rack up seven runs and hand Ducks starter Jack Snodgrass the loss after six and two-thirds innings. Snodgrass (5-5 ERA 3.64) gave up seven runs, seven hits, and two home runs. The final score Monday night was 7-2 York. Long Island was able to kick Tuesday’s game off with a RBI single from Dan Johnson in the first inning. Gailey (ERA 1.80) pitched seven full innings for York giving up only one run and four hits. Ducks starter John Brownell (4-3 ERA 3.02) was handed the loss after giving up the only two runs scored by the Revs. The Revolution was able to claim its third victory 2-1 on Wednesday evening. Even though Long Island could not get their offense to help aid them from the Revolution sweep they still stand in second place in the Liberty division. They are only two games behind the Somerset Patriots (34-25). The Ducks start a four-game series against the Bridgeport Bluefish at Harbor Yard tonight.
