Louis Taylor Out Of PFL Season Two

Once a finals winner, Taylor will now miss all of the action.

Another former champion will not be returning to the Professional Fighters League, albeit for a much different reason than the others. Louis Taylor, who won the PFL Middleweight Championship last season, was not cleared by the NYSAC this week. He is officially off the 2019 roster.

Originally scheduled to main event the PFL’s first event of 2019 inside the Nassau Coliseum, Taylor (18-4-1) posted on Instagram that he would be watching the upcoming season as a fan.

It was later revealed that the NYSAC denied all of his paperwork, with no specific explanation for what medical requirement Taylor did not abide by.

Now, Kayla Harrison will be main eventing the show against Svetlana Khautova in the opening round of the newly-created women’s lightweight division.

Tickets for PFL 12 are still available now at the Nassau Coliseum box office or by going to Ticketmaster.com.
