Feature Middleweights ‘Jacare’ Souza and Tim Boetsch added to UFC 208 in Brooklyn by Kristine Haugsjaa January 6, 2017 Josh Hedges/Zuffa LLC / Zuffa LLC Well, this adds some more substance to next months UFC pay-per-view. UFC Middleweights Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza and Tim Boetsch are set to meet at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for UFC 208 on February 11th, according to Newsday.com. Souza (23-4) has been aiming for a high-ranked middleweight bout since his November match up against former UFC Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold fell through due to injury on Rockhold’s behalf. Boetsch (20-10) is coming off of a first round KO victory of Rafael Natal at UFC 205 in November at Madison Square Garden. The February PPV has been under heavy criticism since the official bout announcements began to roll out. While the main event was in question for the last couple months, the UFC made the official announcement prior to UFC 207 last week that the main event is confirmed to be for the inaugural Women’s Featherweight title between former bantamweight champion Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie.
