Soccer Mitrita scores on his debut with NYCFC by Stefano Bentivogli February 8, 2019 It was undoubtedly an important and unforgettable day for Alexandru Mitrita. Today there was his debut with New York City FC in the friendly match against the AIK played in Dubai. The match ended 1-1 and the goal of the Blues scored him, Mitrita. A very nice goal that showed the best features of Mitrita. Speed, strength and precision all came out on the occasion of his goal. Even in the first half Mitrita had at least a couple of chances to score. Mitrita is a player who sees the way to score goals and that, starting from afar, gives the impression of being devastating. It is clear, however, that it will be better to see him closer to the opposing area, he would have many opportunities to show his full potential. In addition to Mitrita, the team has in part shown a better condition than the first friendly against FC Copenhagen. The team proved to be more dangerous in attack, and perhaps the only weak point was the defensive phase where New York suffered a bit. We are only at the beginning, but returning to Mitrita, he has already left positive feelings. New York City FC seems to have found the attacker he needed. A player who has ample room for improvement considering the age of Mitrita who just today celebrated his 24th birthday. Mitrita responded immediately, but we are at the beginning. Now it just has to work on and improve.
