NBA season is  underway , which is a clear indication that fall is here. Before we take a  look at this week in sports and pop culuture, I would like to congratulate the World Series Champions  Kansas City Royals , on a well played World Series. The Fall Classic maybe over , but the Fall season in sports are now  heating up.

Monday Night Football- Indianapolis Colts vs Carolina Panthers: The Panthers put their 6-0 record on the line when the reeling Colts come to Bank of America Stadium on Monday night. Both teams are seemingly headed in opposite directions. The Panthers have started the season 6-0, while the Colts are struggling at 3-4 and have lost two games in a row. Carolina is surging thanks to an elite defense and Cam Newton playing quality football. The Colts were supposed to be Super Bowl contenders after loading up on veteran free agents in the offseason, but they haven’t lived up to the hype.Colts need to show and  prove that they are still a player in the AFC.

Wednesday Night NBA  Key Match-up: Los Angeles Clippers  vs Golden State Warriors : In an early season showdown,The revamped Clippers  head to  Oakland to battle the World Champion Golden State Warriors. This matchup could have been the Western Conference Finals last season,if not for an epic collapse by the Clippers.

Rivalry games are usually unpredictable. Let’s see how Andy Dalton handles the prime-time spotlight.

Friday Night Movies- 007  Spectre :The first blockbuster of the fall has arrived in 007 Spectre. FA cryptic message from the past leads James Bond (Daniel Craig) to Mexico City and Rome, where he meets the beautiful widow (Monica Bellucci) of an infamous criminal. After infiltrating a secret meeting, 007 uncovers the existence of the sinister organization SPECTRE. Needing the help of the daughter of an old nemesis, he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of SPECTRE, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy (Christoph Waltz) he seeks.

Saturday College Football – #4 LSU vs #7 Alamba: Espn College GameDay  crew will be in Tuscaloosa for the much anticiapated matchup , between  The LSU Tigers and The Tide of Alabama.No. 4 LSU is  the SEC’s last remaining unbeaten team at 7-0 while No. 7  Alabama is 7-1. Saturday’s game won’t have quite the same amount of buzz as the No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown in 2011, but it will still play a huge role in determining who stays alive in the race for a College Football Playoff spot. This game could be Leonard Fournette breakout game.A strong performance against the vaunted Bama defense will work wonders for Fournette’s Heisman campaign.

Sunday NFL Week 9 Key Matchups:  The NFL season reaches the half way mark. Championship resumes , are built with November and December wins . Peyton Manning and a stingy Denver Broncos’s defense , into Indianapolis to do battle with the Colts.
