After Thanksgiving could only mean one thing ,Sports are heating up , especially for College Football and the NFL. Week 13 is abound us and the playoff pushes are in full swing. This week is also Championship Saturday for College Football. This week , we will have a clearer idea on who the Final Four teams will be, in the College Football Playoffs. Sit back, relax and enjoy, as we finish off Thanksgiving leftovers and talk shop on all things in Sports and Pop culture. Monday Night Football- Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns : OK, it’s the old Browns vs the new Browns in Cleveland on Monday Night. Both teams are looking forward to this season being over. The race to earn the No.1 pick in the 2016 draft is heating up and both teams are in prime contention to claim that spot.The Cleveland fans, wouldn’t mind seeing a season sweep over the old Browns . Tuesday Night -Lakers vs Sixers -Kobe’s last game in Philadelphia: Kobe Bryant’s Farewell tour begins in his hometown city of Philadelphia. Expect the Philadelphia fans to vocal ,rude and cheerful in Kobe’s last appearance .Based on the past 15 years, there could be boos every time the former Lower Merion High School star touches the ball. But Bryant, who announced Sunday he plans to retire at the end of his 20th season, will undoubtedly hear some cheers from the Philly faithful in his final stop at the Wells Fargo Center. Tuesday and Wednesday – Flash/Arrow Crossover Event: This time the heroes of Starling City and Central City unite to take on the nefarious Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), who we know will play a big antagonistic role on The CW’s upcoming spinoff series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. And with LoT premiering on January 21st, it’s clear that this two-episode team up is meant to kickstart that series, building up the danger so as to set the stage for our new super-team. Thursday Night Football -Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions: The Detroit Lions host the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football .The Green Bay Packers (7-4) are coming from a 17-13 home loss to the Chicago Bears.The Detroit Lions (4-7) are coming from a 45-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles last week. The Packers will look to rebound and keep pace with first place ,Minnesota Vikings. The Lions will look to continue their good play of late. NCAA Championship Saturday: SEC, Big 10, ACC, and Pac 12 all have their chamspionship games this Saturday night. By Sunday , we should have a clear idea on who the last 4 will be. If Clemson and Alabama take care of business in their respective conference championship games ,the playoffs will be set. Those two will be joined with Big 12 Champion Oklahoma and the Winner of the Iowa vs Michigan State Big 10 Championship game. If Alabama and or Clemson lose,all bets are off. Ohio State and Stanford are still in play. NFL Week 13 Key Match ups: Playoff positioning will be in full swing this week. The Detroit Lions will attempt to sweep their games against the Green Bay Packers this year, while the Oakland Raiders will attempt to leapfrog the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West and put themselves into AFC wild-card contention. The Battle for New York , will have huge playoff implications , as the New York Jets play a road game , against the New York Giants. Another key match up, to keep an eye on is Seahawks vs Vikings game. Vikings are up a game on the packers . Seahawks are making their playoff push. Both teams need this victory.
