Multi-Year Partnership Announced Between PFL & GEICO

Season two has already been a profitable one of the PFL, thanks in part to ESPN+ and GEICO.

A sponsor can help make or break a promotion. When it comes to the former, it has to be a true knockout. The Professional Fighters League succeeded in doing so, completing a partnership with insurance company GEICO.

Becoming the “Official Insurance Partner of the PFL”, GEICO landed a multi-year deal to be displayed all over their tournament-based format. GEICO currently does business with ESPN< Anheuser-Busch and Air Force Reserve. Adding combat sports into the mix helps establish the brand with a multitude of new fans.

“PFL partners with leaders and we are proud to align with another premium brand in GEICO as we continue to grow in just our second season,” said PFL CEO Peter Murray. “Through Thursday night fight events on ESPN, real-time delivery of fighter performance data and analytics and our PFL Live app, we are engaging with fans throughout our Regular Season, Playoffs and Championship, providing partners with countless ways to reach a passionate and ever-growing community.”

GEICO has been around various sports before. Being a new platform for MMA, the PFL’s tournament format has been extremely effective.

Season two of the PFL is currently underway, with the women’s lightweight and men’s welterweight divisions already creating headlines.
