MMANeil Seery withdraws from UFC 208 bout against Ian McCall by Kristine Haugsjaa January 29, 2017 (MMAJunkie)Unfortunate situation makes for understandable decision.In what was said to be his retirement bout from mixed martial arts, UFC flyweight Neil Seery has announced he has withdrawn from his bout against fellow UFC flyweight Ian McCall scheduled for UFC 208 on February 11th in Brooklyn. Seery posted the unfortunate news to his Facebook page.httpss://twitter.com/PetesyCarroll/status/825802076852744199The flyweight bout was originally scheduled for UFC Fight Night 99 in November in Belfast, Ireland. The fight was called off after McCall was said to be ill after the weigh ins.With less than two weeks until the February pay-per-view, it is questionable whether the UFC will find a new opponent for McCall or if the fight will be cancelled all together.This is the second fight to be canceled from the promotions first visit to Brooklyn.
