New York Rangers Prospect Playoff Update

Minor League playoff season is in full swing and there are a few NY Ranger Prospects that are making a name for themselves in their quests for a championship.

The Hartford Wolf Pack have clinched the Northeast Division in the AHL and will meet Providence in the first round. Oscar Lindberg finished the season with 28 goals and 28 assists for 56 points in 75 games. Danny Kristo was right behind him with 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in 72 games. Mackenzie Skapski finished with 15 wins in 28 games.

In the Western Hockey League; the Rangers have two prospects still alive in the playoffs: Adam Tambellini in the Eastern Conference Finals for the Calgary Hitmen and Keegan Iverson for the Portland Winterhawks in the Western Conference Finals.

Iverson has two goals and five assists in 11 games for Portland in these playoffs. Adam Tambellini leads the league in points with 21: nine goals and 12 assists in 11 games.

In the Ontario Hockey League, the Erie Otters, will meet the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the third round. The Otters are led by Dylan Strome and Ranger Prospect Troy Donnay. This high scoring team will meet Ranger Prospect Brian Halverson in net for the Greyhounds. Halverson has a perfect 8-0 record so far in these playoffs with a .920 SV% and a GAA of 2.05. That series will begin on Thursday.

And last but not least, in the QMJHL, Ryan Graves and the Quebec Remparts are waiting for their next opponent in the Semi-finals. Graves has three goals and three assists for six points in 10 playoff games.
