Football NFL Player Opt-Out Tracker by Peter Snyder August 4, 2020 Last Updated: Saturday, August 8, 2020 If 2020 has taught us anything, it is that nothing is given, but rather everything is earned. To expect is to disappoint and to assume is to evade. In preparation for the (hopeful) 2020 NFL season, I will be keeping track of every player who has decided to or has had thoughts of opting out for the upcoming year with the NFL Player Opt-out Tracker. This article will be updated daily as players have been opting out at a rapid rate. NOTE: It is also important to note that the NFL has set a deadline for this Thursday at 4 PM ET for players to opt-out.
