Hockey NWHL and Boost Oxygen Reach Partnership Agreement by Chip Gianni January 23, 2018 The National Women’s Hockey League has formally announced that they have reached a partnership deal with Boost Oxygen, a Milford, Connecticut company that has been providing bottles of 95 percent pure oxygen for over 10 years. Boost Oxygen has been serving the NWHL since the beginning of the 2017-2018 season. Company President and Co-Founder, Rob Neuner said, “We are extremely proud to support the performance of the talented players in the National Women’s Hockey League. Boost is already on the bench of teams in the National Hockey League, American Hockey League and NCAA.” Nauner added, “Boost’s partnership with the NWHL and its teams provides the players with another tool available for training and for use on the bench during competition. Boost will fuel their passion and desire for playing the game of hockey at an extremely high level.” NWHL Building off of Their Many Sponsorships in 2017 & 2018 The NWHL has been building off a huge year with their strategic partnerships with the NHL’s New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres involvement with two of their teams, as well as the Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild’s collaboration with the two most recent All-Star Games. The league also signed a global broadcast agreement with Twitter, as well as completing a renewal to their major sponsorship with Dunkin Donuts to continue running on Dunkin. Just last week the NWHL also reached a partnership with Sparx Hockey for all their skate sharpening needs. NWHL Commissioner, Dani Rylan said, “The entire NWHL is grateful to Boost Oxygen for its support of our league and our players, along with its dedication to women’s hockey. I know all our teams are extremely satisfied with the impact Boost Oxygen has had on their performance and recovery. We are deeply appreciative of the commitment Rob Neuner and Boost Oxygen have made to the NWHL, and we hope this is just the first season of a long and rewarding alliance.” Boost Oxygen has Three Sizes of Portable Bottles of O2 for use in Performance & Recovery Boost Oxygen is the only choice for three sizes of lightweight portable bottles of oxygen for use by athletes in their performance and recovery.
