NY Rangers Sign Adam Tambellini to an Entry Level Contract

The NY Rangers announced that they have signed center Adam Tambellini to an entry level contract. The Port Moody, British Columbia native was selected by the Rangers in the third round, the 65th overall pick, in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Adam stands 6 foot 3 and weighs 195 pounds, and has registered a point in 46 of 65 games this season with the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL. Tambellini, so far this season, has 45 goals and 34 assists for a total of 79 points. He has a plus 40 rating and 26 penalty minutes.

In a total of 96 career games in the WHL, Adam has 62 goals and 56 assists for 118 points. He also has a plus 37 rating and 36 minutes spent in the penalty box.

In six career playoff games, Adam has five goals and four assists for nine points and a plus 5 rating in those contests.

Adam is the son of Steve Tambellini.
