Odell Beckham Jr Named Double G Sports’ Male Athlete of the Year 2016

New York Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr,  one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, has been named Double G Sports’ Male Athlete of the Year for 2016

At just 22 years old, Beckham was the first round draft by the Giants in 2014. Since then he has set numerous franchise records as a rookie, earning the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2014. Now in his third season with the Giants, Beckham has also become a 3x Pro Bowler. 

Other finalists for Male Athlete of the Year included former UFC Middleweight champion Chris Weidman, New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez and New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes.
