Baseball On The Farm: Yankees Minor League Update by Staff Post April 15, 2011 While all the focus is generally on the major league clubs, the minor league affiliates are in competition as well. These players are working hard to earn a call up. Double G Sports takes a look through the minor league rosters to see which players have gotten off to hot or cold starts. The minor league season is still in it’s early stages as they have only played about seven games to this point. Key Injuries – Top pitching prospects Manny Banuelos (pictured) and Dellin Betances, both at Double-A Trenton, have been placed on the disabled list with blisters.
