Patriots Power Past Revolution With Late Inning Rally

99gamenewsBridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (33-26, 83-46) defeated the York Revolution (33-25, 57-71) 6-2 Wednesday evening at TD Bank Ballpark.

 

In the bottom of the fifth inning second baseman Andres Perez sliced a two RBI double to give York a 2-0 advantage.

 

The Patriots scored six times in the bottom of the sixth inning to grab a 6-2 lead. Center fielder Jonny Tucker drilled a two run home run (5), pinch hitter Mike Wilson clubbed a RBI sacrifice fly, and catcher David Vidal mashed a three run home run (10) to close out the scoring.

 

Will Oliver earned the win (5-1) tossing six innings while allowing two runs. Logan Williamson sustained the loss (7-12) hurling 5.1 innings while allowing three runs.
