Feature President-elect Donald Trump adds former WWE CEO Linda McMahon to his cabinet as head of the SBA by Daniel Yanofsky December 7, 2016 The world is a crazy place. Businessman and TV star Donald Trump will become the next President of the United States. One piece of information people seem to gloss over is that he’s also a WWE Hall of Famer. It looks like he won’t be the only one with WWE ties to enter the White House in January. Multiple news outlets have reported that former WWE CEO Linda McMahon (Vince’s wife) has been appointed as head of his cabinet’s Small Business Administration. Linda has now gone from WrestleMania I at Madison Square Garden all the way to the White House. What a world we live in. httpss://twitter.com/Linda_McMahon/status/806610732410400768 Linda has some experience in the political field. She was the Republican nominee for a Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010 and 2012 (years that altered WWE TV to what we see today). She lost both times, with people questioning her connection to the professional wrestling world at certain points. The wife of Vince McMahon certainly has the credentials for the opportunity. Reuters obtained the announcement from Trump’s transition team, which applauded Linda’s help in growing WWE “from a 13-person operation to a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees worldwide”. Her responsibilities in the position will include supporting small businesses with loans and ensuring they’re awarded a percentage of federal contracts. Will WWE programming be altered as a result of this “hiring” by President-elect Trump? It looks like we will have to wait and see. Many people are exhausted after the long race for President. The one thing that could get people excited could be the thought of Linda bringing Vince to the White House on a regular basis. With that thought comes the hope fans have been waiting years for: Vincent Kennedy McMahon 2020! httpss://twitter.com/120Sports/status/806627510352039938 Post Views: 1,554 The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Daniel Yanofsky Baseball Editor, Misc.
