The Rangers and Knicks are coming down to the wire in their respective seasons, and will look to make a push up the standings. While the Knicks aren’t in playoff contention, they still can make a push to have a respectable season. The same cannot be said for the New York Rangers, as they look to push up the standings and acquire a higher seed in the NHL playoffs. Also, Ariana Grande makes a stop at MSG this weekend. The three most expensive events at the garden are going for an average price of $282.97 on the secondary market according to SeatSmart. 03/18/15 Chicago Blackhawks @ New York Rangers | Average Price: $329.45 | Get-in Price: $115.00 In the most expensive event of the week, the Chicago Blackhawks travel to MSG to take on the Rangers. This will be a battle of experienced forwards, as Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews of Chicago will square off against Rick Nash of the Rangers. These players lead their teams in scoring, and are tops in the league when it comes to elite forwards. However, Kane and Toews will have to get the puck past Cam Talbot. The average price for NY Rangers tickets to this contest is $329.45 on the secondary market. Tickets are going for as low as $115.00 on the secondary market. 03/22/15 Anaheim Ducks @ New York Rangers | Average Price: $277.64| Get-in Price: $80.00 The best team in the Western Conference travels to the Garden to take on the Blue Shirts. Led by center Ryan Getzlaf, this team scores 2.8 goals per game which is 9th-best in the NHL. Goaltender Frederik Andersen has emerged as a star in this league, as he is only giving up 2.37 goals per game and saving the puck 92 percent of the time. The Rangers should be able to exploit Anaheim when they are on the power play, as they are 23rd in the NHL in scoring on those opportunities. The average price for this hockey action is $277.64 on the secondary market. The get-in price for Anaheim Ducks tickets in NY of $80.00 makes this game more affordable for hockey fans in the Manhattan area. 03/19/15 Minnesota Timberwolves @ New York Knicks | Average Price: $263.84| Get-in Price: $32.00 The high-flying Timberwolves make their way to the Garden to take on the Knicks in some Thursday night NBA action. Although it seems as if both teams cannot make the playoffs, the Timberwolves have some exciting talent that should be on display at the garden. This includes top overall pick Andrew Wiggins and Slam Dunk champion Zach LaVine. Also, Kevin Garnett returns to the garden once again, and he has been a thorn in the side of the Knicks for years with the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets. The average price for this game is $329.45 on the secondary market. However, tickets are going for a minimum price of $32.00. NYC parking on ParkWhiz costs just $11 for this game.
