Hockey Rangers Announce 2015 Pre-Season Schedule Rangers will face off against three opponents in the pre-season by Staff Post June 19, 2015 The New York Rangers announced their 2015 pre-season schedule today. During the course of the pre-season, the Blueshirts will play three games at Madison Square Garden and six games in 10 days. The Rangers will face off against three opponents in the pre-season: Boston, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. The Rangers will open the pre-season at MSG on Monday, September 21 against New Jersey and face the Flyers in Philadelphia the following evening. New York will face the Bruins in Boston on Thursday, September 24 and will travel to New Jersey to face the Devils on Saturday, September 26. The Rangers conclude their pre-season schedule with home games against Philadelphia on Monday, September 28 and against Boston on Wednesday, September 30. All game times are EST.
