The game will take place at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, home of the Islanders AHL affiliate the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, on Friday, Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. These New York teams have fought back and forth for local bragging rights since the Islanders founding in 1972. With some of the most passionate fans in professional sports standing behind these teams, the competitive spark will bring some exciting hockey to Bridgeport to kick off the season.
