Hockey Rangers Regular Season Has But Ten Games Left As of March 25th, the Broadway Blueshirts are in first place in the Metropolitan Division. by Staff Post March 26, 2015 The 2014-15 Regular Season for the NY Rangers has only 10 games left. And as of March 25th, the Broadway Blueshirts are in first place in the Metropolitan Division and just one point out of the top spot for the entire league. Out of those ten games left on the schedule, six are on the road and four will be played at MSG. But since the Rangers are so potent on the road, this does not phase the team or their fans at all. The Rangers will begin these last ten games on the road, as they play the red hot Ottawa Senators and their equally red hot goaltender, rookie Andrew Hammond. The “Hamburglar” of the NHL is on some streak and the Rangers are looking to derail him. The Rangers than travel to Boston to play their Original Six rivals, who are now on the outside looking in at a playoff spot. On Sunday afternoon, the Caps come into MSG and renew their fierce rivalry. It is then off to Winnipeg to face another team vying for a playoff spot, as the Jets do battle with the Rangers. Minnesota and the Wild would then be next, as the Rangers play yet another team either in or on the fringe of the playoffs. The last five games of the season starts on 4/4 at the Garden against the Devils, then on 4/6, they will face the Blue Jackets at home before going to NJ on 4/7 to face the Devils for the last time this season. Ottawa then visits MSG on 4/9 before the season ends in Washington on 4/11. Ten games left in a great season that can be even greater, as the Rangers have their sights set on finishing what they started in the playoffs last season.
